Project Integration Management

l 專案整合管理是九大知識領域之首,跨越知識領域的藩籬,用以統整專案管理的各項流程及活動。

n To identify, define, combine, unify, and coordinate the various process and project management activities within the Project Management Process Groups

n Processes include

1. Develop Project Charter

2. Develop Preliminary Project Scope Statement

3. Develop Project Management Plan

4. Direct and Management Project Execution

5. Monitor and Control Project Work

Develop Project Charter

l 專案起始的第一個流程, 產出專案核準書,以宣告專案或專案階段的正式開始。

n Develops the project charter to authorize a project or a project phase

n Initiating Process Group



Project Charter

l 專案核凖書闡述專案的目標, 並指派專案經理,是一種正式的授權及責任付與。

n A document that formally authorizes a project

n Provides the project manager with the authority to apply organizational resource

n Issued by a project initiator or sponsor external to the project organization at a level that is appropriate to funding the project

n The output of Develop Project Charter



Project Manager

l 專案經理的責任,是 在於達成專案的目標。在九大知識領域中,專案整合管理最主要的負責者就是專案經理, 而其90%的時間是用於溝通管理。

n Should be identified and assigned as early as feasible

n Always prior to the start of planning

n Preferable while the project charter is being developed



Statement of Work (SOW)

l 工作說明書一詞是 指為 Develop Project Charter 而凖備的文件,亦用於 Contract,不要與 Project Scope Statement 一詞混淆。

n A narrative description of product or services to be supplied by the project

n A input of Develop Project Charter

n Indicates

l Business need

l Product Scope description

l Strategic plan



Project Selection Methods

l 專案 是否值得投資,或是應優先投資那個專案,皆 需先作分析判斷,然後才會有專案的核凖。

n Used to determine which project the organization will selection

n A tool of Develop Project Charter

n Two categories

l Benefit measurement methods: comparative methods, scoring models, benefit contribute, or economic models

l Mathematical models: linear, nonlinear, dynamic, integer, or multi-objective programming algorithms



Project Management Information System

l PMIS是它的縮寫簡稱,通稱專案管理所使的資訊整合系統,並非單指某一特定的系統。

n Used to gather, integrate, and disseminate the out of project management processes

n Supports all aspect of the project from initiating through closing

n Includes both manual and automated system

n A tool of Develop Project Charter



Expert judgment

l 專案是Team Work,專案管理是整合的工作。也就是說,一般人不 太可能,也不需要精通所有領域的知識。而專家判斷則是最常用的工具之一, 你將會在各不同的專案管理流程中發現它 的應用。

n Provided by any group or individual with specialized knowledge

Develop Preliminary Project Scope Statement

l 專案 起始的第二個流程,產出初步的專案範疇說明書,用以對專案 範疇做一概略的描述。

n Develops the preliminary project scope statement to provide a high-level scope narrative

n Initiating Process Group



Project Scope Statement

l 專案範疇說明書是對專案所下的定義,不要與 Statement of Work 一詞混淆。

n The definition of the project - what needs to be accomplished





Develop Project Management Plan

l 將其他知識領域內所完成的各項管理計晝, 整合成專案管理計畫。

n Documents the actions necessary to define, prepare, integrate, and coordinate all subsidiary plans into a project management plan

n Planning Process Group



Project Management Plan

l 專案管理計畫對專案的執行、監督控制、結案做出規劃,而 Baseline 和 Subsidiary Plan 則是專案管理計畫的兩個重要元素 。

n A formal, approved document that defines how the project is executed, monitored and controlled, and closed

n Documents the collection of outputs of the planning processes of the Planning Process Group

n Subsidiary plans include, not limited

Direct and Manage Project Execution

l 依據專案管理計畫執行專案, 產出交付物,以結束專案。

n Executes the works defined in the project management plan to achieve the project's requirements defined in the project scope statement

n Executing Process Group



Deliverable

l 交付物即專案的產出物,一般都是有形的,但也可提供無形的交付物,如教育訓練。

n An output of Direct and Management Project Execution

n Any unique and verifiable product, result, or capability to perform a service that is identified in the project management plan, and must be produced and provided to complete the project

n Either tangible or intangible





Monitor and Control Project Work

l 監督控制的對向,包括了所有的專案流程,不僅是針對專案執行的工作 而已。

n Monitors and controls the processes used to initiate, plan, and close a project to meet the performance objectives defines in the project management plan

n Monitoring & Controlling Process Group





Integrated Change Control

l 整合變更管制是以專案整體的角度來做考量,因為變更的影響通常是跨領域及全面性的,不可僅從單一領域的面向思考變更的問題。

n Reviews all change requests, approving changes, and controlling changes to the deliverables and organizational process assets

n Monitoring & Controlling Process Group



Change Control Board

l 變更請求須 經審核同意,方可執行變 更。

n Responsible for approving and rejecting the requested changes





Close Project

l 結束專案或專案階段的流程, 勿讓名稱給誤導。

n Finalizes all activities across all of the Project Management Process Groups to formally close the project or a project phase

n Two procedures are developed

l Administrative closure procedure

l Contract closure procedure

n Closing Process Group
